I wanna talk about Slumdog Millionaire

Deng deng!! Finally I have time to write about this movie- Slumdog Millionaire that I got to watch few days back. (FINALLY!!) == It is a 2008 Year production and I am only watching in now. My friends "shot" me, "WHY YOU SO OUTDATED WAN..." Duh~~ At least I got to watch it already rite. Not that you watch earlier than me, and so you are smarter than me rite? =.="

Hm.. It is really really hard to write a movie review for this movie. As... It is shooouuuu complicated! Shouuuuuu complicated but shouuuuuuuu intriguing! Fuhh!! The producer and the writer must be genius lah! How can they make a damn-kao-boring story into such a great one? C'mon lah! Think of it. If I were to tell you, a poor boy, joined a "Who wants to be a millionaire" TV Show. Then, he won 20 millions and became a millionaire. I bet you will be.. " Walao! No better story to tell ah?"

There are so many scenes that I love. So, let me just list out some parts.

1. The starting of the movie
Suspense!! Yes! That's the thing! Yorr... I have already started to wander what the story will be like. I can't stop guessing. Most of my guesses are wrong though. Cos, the plot are not expectable except for the ending. I knew he will be with Latika okay!

2. Shit
The young Jamal was actually shitting when Amitabh Bachan went to his village. Well, back to those time, there is no jamban for you to sit on to shit. You only have a hole, and your shit will goes down to a big big hole thru a small hole. Back to the story. He was so excited that Amitabh was here that he wanted to get his autograph so badly! BUT, his bad bad brother locked him in the toilet. As he is truly obsessed with the artist Amitabh, he decided to jump into the shit hole in order to get out from that little cabin for toilet. He ran all the way from the toilet to Amitabh with shits all over his body. As he stinks like hell, nobody dares to touch him. Easy pissily he got Amitabh's autograph. And... He shouted happily!!! Rawr~~~ He is damn bloody cute lah!! (whether with/without shit all over him) ^^ Such a memorable scene that I can never forget.. Haha!

3. Digging the eyes
Urgh! This scene is so UEKKK!! I nearly puked like what Salim did! Yucks! The scene is very real man!!

These are the three scenes that I remember most lah.. If any of you haven't watched it, do watch it k! Coz it is not just a good movie. It is SUPERB!

Sepet

I thought I would be continuing my assignment right after I finished watching the movie. But, hey! It is almost impossible for me not to have some thoughts over this movie after watching it.


Sepet is a 2004 movie. And I am only watching it in 2010. Malu!! It is such a great movie. I mean... SO GREAT that how could it be possible for me watching it 6 years after the movie was screened? Damn myself!

I really love this movie of Yasmin Ahmad's. It is so touching and what's most important is that the movie reflects the reality. Not like many other movies where stories are exaggerated to make them look more intriguing. Hey, the truth is the most intriguing things okay! The movie brought out a very straight forward message and opinion in such a way that it didn't sound offensive at all to me(at least). Every lil part of the movie brings out clear message! How awesome is that!!

Wee~~~ I used to wonder how Avatar could be done. Now, I will start to wonder how Yasmin Ahmad could actually do Sepet in such..... unique way. So unique. Bloody unique!

Avatar, avatar, avatar

Can't help but to laugh at myself for thinking that Avatar is a horror movie when I first saw the movie poster. So happened that my friend and I was planning to watch a movie on Monday. At first, we thought of watching Christmas Carol. But, we ended up deciding to watch Avatar. And I still remember the first reaction I gave to my friend was, "Avatar? Er... What movie lai de? Horror movie??" Lol~ That sounds so stupid! == As I was freaking free, I ended up looking for a lil info about this movie. And whao! Looks like it is a good movie as the feedbacks are so good! So, no more doubts. I was so going to watch this movie.

Well, I thought of writing some comments about the movie. But, I found out that one of my friend had written a great comment about the movie. And so, I decided to just "promoting" her blog here. Feel free to read. Lol~ Cos' whatever she had written is just what I wanna say. Or maybe, she had written it way better than I could.

But, let me just end with a few words about the movie. Avatar makes my heart screams!!!!!!

UP

So hey! I went to watch UP with my gang of coursemates today. Hm.. I would say it's another worth-watching movie. ^^ I don't wanna brag much about the movie so that I can make you guys feel suspensed. XD!


There goes the seventh day of my semester break. It made me feel so awkward that one week has just gone in a blink of eye! It's just too fast. I haven't completed any of my home assignments yet, which is like so O-M-G! Lazy worms are defeating my body little by little. Uggh! I had been facebook-ing practically EVERYDAY! Whoa.. Non-stop notification mails came flooding my mailbox. As I really hate to see unwanted mails in my mailbox, I will spend a few minutes every morning to delete those junk mails. =.=" Sick of it.

Tomorrow will be another productive day, perhaps. I will be going to the Popular Book Fest which is located at KLCC. Wahaha~~ Still thinking whether I should spend the money to buy books or to buy albums. As some of you know, I have a collection of original albums. But I have stopped buying them as I had to spend the money on my studies. Now that everything is on sales. Ugh~ It's too hard to make a decision. =(

Caffeine is really working effectively in my body now. I feel so energetic! But I am not in the mood of completing my assignment, yet. XD. (Annoying? Yeah.. I know that) Time to watch drama again. Little Nyonya, here I come!

Mixed feeling

I went to watch Fast and Furious 4 with Lun today.

Vin Diesel was as cool as he was in The Fast and The Furious.


Michelle Rodriguez. She rocks! But, she only appeared in the movie for a short while.

Comment: Worth-watching movie. So much better than Dragon Ball Evolution! The storyline of this episode is more touching than the previous three episodes.

So, what's about my title.... Bad news. That's all I can say.

Outing

Yay!! It's the day to go KLCC!

My first destination is to the CINEMA!! Siew Woon and I decided to watch Narnia at 11.30am. That movie is freaking cool! It's not a perfect movie, but it is definitely a worth-watching one. I could hear some kids screaming when the movie came to the war part. =_=".. It ain't scary my dear.. But the war was seriously too exciting that I start to bite my own fingers, not finger nails! LOL.. Before I watched the movie, my sister told me that the best reason of watching Narnia is that there's many handsome fellas to watch at. Hm... It's quite true actually. I find Skandar Keynes so adorable is this episode of Narnia. He looks much better in this episode compare to the previous one. There's also another charming man there who is Ben Barnes. I shall call him a "man" as there's no reason for you to say that he is not a man! Lol.. You have no way to say that he is not charming. HE IS THE PRINCE PEOPLE! How nice if he's a real real prince.. Hohoho.. Oh ya.. The adorable little Georgie Henley. She's sooooo cute..Overall, I rate the movie 7/10.

After the movie, we rushed to the Popular Book Fest. Wuhoo.. Without waiting for another second, I walked to the CD area. I can tell you, there's only one word to describe those CDs sold there. It is..... CHEAP!! Goodness sake. Can you imagine CDs where you buy outside for 40++ or 50++ are only sold RM9.90 there? Of course only certain CDs are sold at that price. But, IT IS SOOOO CHEAP!! I did not think much at that time. I just grab whatever that I found worth-buying. I bought Rain's Eternal Rain and Jay Chou's Still Fantasy. They only cost me RM19.80 though. HAHA.. And I also bought any of the Lee Hom's albums sold there for Audrey. What to do..she wants them so badly! Haha.. Besides buying CDs, I bought lots of stuff there too. There was just tooooooooooo many things to buy!!! I think I can spent a million there. (Too bad I am not a millionaire's daughter) Anyway, all those crappy stuff that I bought really "dried" my purse up.. *sigh* (counting notes)

I have to say I enjoy myself a lot today with Siew Woon.. Haha.. Hopefully we can have much longer time strolling in the building next time. Chaoz...

Oh ya!! BTW,..... Skandar Keynes learns TAEKWONDO!!Wuhoo...
