Gratitude

Getting perfect results is a joy. But aside from joys, we should never forget those people that had put so much efforts on guiding us to this pathway. Many of them who got their results must have forgotten to do something, which is to thank those people who have helped much during our battle days.

Firstly, thanks to God. Ok,I have something to share here. Before this, I was a free thinker. I don't believe in any God. After joining NS, I have a better exposure about my own religion-Buddhism. You know what? When you believe in God, God will believe in you too. I could sense His presence wherever I go! I guess this is the main reason I am so chilled either before getting the result or after getting the result.

Secondly, I would like to thank my parents. Well, my parents look like they are very care-free of my results. They always say that they don't bother about my results and they never force me to score with flying colours. Ah. Parents are always like this. But whenever I did badly in my exams, they will still ask me why haven't I put more efforts on studies. Hahaha! Parents oh parents. Besides, something very different about my parents is they will never promise me something before any examinations. (I never demand for anything though) Even though they never tell me why(and I never intend to ask), I knew the purpose of them doing so. They do not want me to study for the sake of getting something, but to study for the sake of myself. =D My parents' favourite phrase whenever I ask them how they feel when I get good results: "Whatever you have studied, it's all yours. It has nothing to do with me."

Thirdly, I would like to thank my teachers. Well, long list to go.
1. Mr Gerald
He must be the first in this list! Without him, I shall not even dream for the A1 for G-CEO paper. For your information, my mother tongue is Mandarin. So, I am educated in that way to speak Mandarin at home. Besides, I am not grown up in a family who loves reading. I only started to read fiction/non-fiction English language books during my secondary school life. The one who made me fall in love with English language is MR GERALD. He is such an inimitable tutor of mine. Attending his class is like an addiction! If he opens classes for Adults, I will definitely be the first to register okay! =D

2. Mr James
My Additional Mathematics tutor. Anyone who is unsatisfied with your Add Maths tutor? Please join Alpha Zon which is located at Bayu. (Promoting pulak!) Okay. So what's so big deal about this teacher? Big deal la of course! The way he used to make the students revised and revised the previous chapters is an efficient way of practicing Add Maths. His main purpose of doing so is to avoid us from forgetting the applications of the previous chapters. I truly enjoy his class even though he is not those type of tutor who will make the whole class laugh until the whole class shakes.

3. Pn Rashida
Her bombastic words for Malay language are the key of getting A1 in BM okay! All you have to do in her class is learn up all those bombastic words and pay full attention when she explains the story/the meaning of KOMSAS. Next, apply it in your examinations. And, the A1 will be yours! As simple as that!

4. Pn Norita
I will never forget her screeching voice!! There is only one reason for me liking her so much which is the way she cares for her students. She IS emotional, but she is emotional in that way that people could understand how she feels. (Not like some other teachers who make students scratch their head wondering what the teacher is angry about) All her feelings are written clearly on her face. This shows that she is never a liar. If she says that she loves you, she really does. Being direct is just so "Pn-Norita"(adj).

5. Pn Priya
She is the saviour of 4D (2007) and 5D (2008)'s Add Maths. I could still remember the range of the marks of 4D(2007)'s Add Maths before she came and after she came. Before she teached 4D(2007), the number of A scorer- 1 or 2 people. (I got a C that time) After she teached 4D(2007), the number of A scorer- Half of the class. See the difference? She has the talent of teaching which is able to make people understand Add Maths in a detailed way. I give her a Distinction for this!

6. Pn Hafizan
Another important soul! She is my school's Pendidikan Seni Visual teacher. I rate her as the best Seni teacher in Selangor or maybe Malaysia. I am so lucky to have her helping me so much for my kerja kursus. My friends(from other schools) told me that their Seni teachers just threw them the kerja kursus paper and asked them to settle the kerja kursus themselves. WOOTZ! Pn Hafizan is not like this okay! I could see her sacrifice in helping us to complete our folios and papan tanda. She helped the weak ones to search for details. She stayed back in the school to guide us in accomplishing the kerja kursus. She borrowed me the Seni book(which is school's property) back home for months so that I can study the theories. She bought the students brushes as a gift before Seni exam. How many teachers are willing to do those things? I know many of the students in MGS hates her la.(Even I myself used to dislike her last time) But after knowing her better, I found out that she is such a great teacher! 5-star teacher!

7. Puan Ting, Puan Chua and Miss Ng
Three of them were my Chemistry teachers. Three of them have their ways of teacher Chemistry. Pn Chua is the only one among them who can make me stay awake throughout the lesson. Sleeping in her class makes me feel awkward. Hahaha!! Puan Ting leh.. She is always willing to help the weak one. Even if you still don't understand after she makes the explanation, she will not show any sign of impatience. Same to Miss Ng as well. She always has a smile on her face.

8. Mrs Leong
My Taekwondo teacher. Ok! I know Taekwondo has nothing to do with my SPM result. But, this teacher has given me lots of support since I was young. She is always concerned of her students, just like a mother. =)

9. Mr Yeo Eng Hin
Let me draw your attention to this teacher of mine. He is my Art tutor. Without him, I won't be so in love with water colour paintings. Aside from teaching me arts, he also taught me values of life. His deep thoughts truly impressed me! Without him, I won't be able to succeed in my Art field.

*to be editted if there are any teacher that I have left out.

*edited- Yes! I knew it! I have missed
someone out .

10. Ms Sim
Oh. This brilliant lady. No one can deny that she is INTELLIGENT okay! I miss the way she shows sarcasm so much! =D I am lucky to have her as my EST teacher as she is the SPM examiner of EST paper. Woots!

11. Pn Asiah
Ah ah ah.... Like what Lee Teng said, she is like another mother in the school. So prihatin over the students. Even though her History class can be quite boring at times (Let me emphasize the word 'AT TIMES'), I still prefer to have her teaching History than to have someone else teaching History
in my class . Something very pitiful about being a History teacher is to mark History essays till vomit blood(literally). You gotta salute this teacher who can sacrifise her sleeping time to finish marking the papers ASAP.

Next, I would like to thank my fellow friends!!

The first two people to receive this gratitude are Ms. Tee Jo Lin and Ms. Audrey Teh YL! Everyone knows that I love them. We are the retarded ones!! LMAO!!

Then, I would like to thank Soon Teck, Sherene, Siew Woon, Guan Tat, Sin Dee, Boon Yi, Lee Teng, Linda, Winnie, Gavin, Steph, Zing, Mun Chun and , ............

* * *

Lastly, I wanna thank myself for believing in myself! Thanks for being neutral no matter what happens! I will love you even more from now onwards!
